ENYYSA Donated $250,000 To Soccer Clubs after Hurricane Sandy

ENYYSA and affiliated non-profit organizations, including SportsSignup, donated nearly $250,000 to needy soccer clubs and teams devastated by the hurricane. $125,000 was raised by the Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL), the largest league in ENYYSA. The Troy Turkey Trot Donated More than $12k to Local Charities!

The Troy Turkey Trot is one of the oldest (since 1916 when it had 6 runners) and biggest (this year it smashed the previous registration record with 8,290 participants!) road races in the United States (the 12th oldest to be exact). The Troy Turkey Trot allowed registrants to donate to local charities when they registered online via the SportsSignup road race registration system. This year the race was sponsoring three local charities including the Troy Boys and Girls Club, the Lansingburgh Boys and Girls Club and the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.  22% of the registrants donated to this year’s designated non-profits for a grand total of $12,177 to the three charities!
